POBE Supports Lakeland Regional Health Employees
A few weeks ago, Philip O’Brien Elementary staff members volunteered their time to stuff 500 goodie bags for employees of Lakeland Regional Health. This was a community volunteer effort, and we were proud to be a part of it. Thank you to our frontline workers for all you do!
Staff Pink Out Day
In October, POBE staff members participated in a “Pink Out” day for breast cancer awareness. Staff members could donate $5 or items such as lotion, scented candles, snacks, or blankets to go into a care basket in order to wear their favorite pink shirt and jeans for the day. We gathered multiple care package items and money to purchase gift cards which are being donated to a local community member who is recovering from breast cancer surgery.
Thank you staff for your generosity and for supporting those in our community!
